JCSP - JUNIOR CERTIFICATE SCHOOL PROGRAM

Marino College is privileged to have the added bonus of the Junior Certificate School Program (JCSP). The school includes all Junior Cycle students in this wonderful program specifically designed to ensure that students enjoy their experiences at school while at the same time increase literacy, numeracy, communication and group work skills through activity based initiatives. JCSP provides funding for these activity programmes that help improve learning, build on achievements and ensuring student success.

Some examples of the extra activities in Marino College over the years is the annual film-making workshops followed by The Marino College Oscars, Rap or Drama workshops, Field Trips related to Science, Geography and History, Maidin Gaeilge for Irish, Pizza Making in Home Economics and many more activities across the various school curriculum.

On completion of the school program the students receive a profile certificate which is an
official record of their achievements from the Department of Education and Skills.
