Partnership with Suas

We have been working with SUAS volunteers for a number of years now and each year the list of volunteers grows bigger. SUAS is an internationally recognised charity based in the heart of Dublin and their goal is to support literacy programmes throughout the country.

They support our students in the junior cycle through paired reading but also by improving and enriching our student's confidence and fluency in oral language. This programme is run by our librarian Ms. Walsh and our HSCL Ms. O'Neill.

Parents Book Club

Our parent book club is run by our librarian Ms. Walsh and our HSCL Ms. O'Neill. We meet every two months to share our love of books, coffee, and cake! Newcomers are always welcome. Each chosen book is provided by the library.
