Marino College Distance Challenge

What started as a challenge to keep our school’s running club active, has now been extended to a school-wide distance challenge. Each week our students, staff and parents/guardians are walking, jogging and running around their local area.

Activities are being recorded on Strava, screenshots of each activity are sent into our dedicated Google Classroom and the combined distance is being added up at the end of each week. We are sharing photos of our outings, too, appreciating the beauty we have on our doorsteps.

Our goal is to reach 1000km by the February Mid-term break. After 3 weeks, we have reached 719km! It is amazing to see our school community working together towards a joint goal, whilst also benefiting their own Mental and Physical Wellbeing.
