Former Marino College Pupil reads Poetry for President Biden

If you were watching RTÉ news on St. Patrick’s Day, you may have already seen our talented former pupil, Michael Tient, performing the Lake Isle of Inisfree by W.B Yeats for President Joe Biden. St. Patrick's Day was chosen as the virtual launch day for a new poetry initiative Hope Rhymes between the USA and Ireland in order to bring poetry to a wider, younger audience. Michael is an extremely talented young man who currently attends The LIR Academy, Ireland’s National Academy of Dramatic Art in Trinity College. Michael represented Marino College in Poetry Aloud 2020 and won the competition. His talents are now recognised nationally and internationally. Congratulations our former pupil, Michael Tient!
